The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports: Sunday l At 1:38 a.m., an officer reported a fight at a lounge on West Route 66. An officer was conducting a walk through of the lounge when a fight with weapons occurred. One male subject was arrested for the charge of aggravated assault and transported to the Quay County Detention Center. l At 8:23 a.m., a female reported a domestic dispute at a fuel station on East Route 66. A female told officers that her boyfriend had hit her several times and tore up the store. An officer advised that the male subject had left the area prior to their arrival and that charges will be filed. l At 3:39 p.m., a female reported vandalism on East Laughlin Street. An officer advised that a window had been broken out of the residence. l At 4:47 p.m., a female reported a possible fight at a church on East Hines Street. An officer advised that it was a verbal argument and the problem had been resolved. l At 8:02 p.m., a male reported a domestic dispute on East Reed Street. One female juvenile was arrested and taken to the Curry County Juvenile Detention Center for two counts of aggravated battery. Monday l At 12:05 a.m., an officer conducted a routine traffic stop on South First Street. One male subject was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. l At 11:03 a.m., a female reported vandalism on East Hines Street. An officer advised that a vehicle had been egged. l At 2:08 p.m., a female reported an open door at a bank on South First Street. The female told officers that the bank was closed for the holiday but the door was still open. An officer made contact with the manager and the door was secured. l At 5:31 p.m., a male reported a burglary on South Fourth Street. An officer was told that someone had broken into a pickup and stolen several items. l At 6:50 p.m., a male reported vandalism on Quay Road AG. An officer advised the the back window of a vehicle had been broken out. Tuesday l At 8:46 a.m., a female reported an unwanted subject at a residence on South College Street. An officer was told that a male subject would not leave the residence when asked. The officer advised the male subject to leave and not return.
