Just married...
Ellen Martin and Charles Dunn of Tucumcari were married Feb. 16 at Storybook Cabins in Ruidoso. Jim Witcher officiated at the wedding. In the bridal party were: Jessica Martin-Ortiz, matron of honor; Cathy Tapia, bridesmaid; Samual Dunn, bestman; and Jacob Martin, groomsman. The Dunns own and operate Dunn Funeral Home and live in Tucumcari.


Double celebration...
The Watson boys are celebrating their birthdays at a bowling part this weekend.
Jarrett James Watson was 7 on Feb. 27 and is in the first grade. Teagan Lee Watson will be 4 on Sunday and attends preschool. They both love the movies Transformers and Spiderman and can't get enough of their super heroes. Joining them in the celebration are family and friends, including their parents, Court and Tanya Watson. Their grandparents are Jimmy and Stella Watson of Tucumcari, Jim and Nettie Watson of Junction, Texas, Howard Nairn of Mabank, Texas and Chris and Bobbie Lawson of Springfield, Mo.



Born unique...
Yvonne and Jose Ramos of Tucumcari are the parents of a baby girl, Unique Marie Ramos. Unique Marie Ramos weighed 7-pounds, 1-ounce when she born  Jan. 29, 2008 at the Plains Regional Hospital in Clovis. Unique Marie's grandparents are Maira Lawrence,  Marshall D. Lawrence and Isidra Ramos and Mario Lara. Her great-grandparents are Shirley Higgins, Rebecca Saucedo and Geronimo Ramos.


Just turned five...
Ethan Wayne Smith was five on March 5.  Nathan who has fondness for superheroes has a collection of Transformers and Spiderman figures. Nathan is the son of Todd and Ramona Garcia Smith of Tucumcari. His grandparents are Daniel and Phyllis Garcia and Steve and Becky Smith, both of Tucumcari. His great-grandparents are Leona and the late Henry Smith and Domifilia Garcia, all of Tucumcari.
