Two Quay County commissioners announced this week that they will be seeking re-election in the primary election.

They are: 
Bill Curry, Quay County Commissioner District 2. Curry and his wife Juanita are lifelong residents of Quay County.  Curry said he is anxious to continue his service to all the residents of Quay County and looks forward to the positive direction Quay County is moving in. 

Robert Lopez, Quay County Commissioner District 1 has announced his candidacy for re-election as commissioner.  Lopez and his family are lifelong residents of Quay County.  Lopez said he looks forward to continuing his service to the people of District 1 as well as the entire County.
At this time, no other candidates have announced.

The terms are for four years.

The District 3 seat is held by Franklin McCasland, chairman of the Quay County Commission. His term expires 2010.
