Salt is essential for good health. But often too much of a good thing is not healthy, according to a press release from the Quay County Extension Office.


We must have a balance of sodium and water in our body fluids and tissues at all times. Too much of either, however, will upset the balance.
And a key to healthy eating is choosing foods lower in salt and sodium.
