The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports:

Saturday
l At 7:35 p.m., a female called to report an unwanted subject at a retail business on East Route 66, who had been banned from the store.
l At 12:52 p.m., a female called to report that there was a man, who was bleeding,  lying on West Sunset Street.

Sunday
l At 1:34 a.m., an anonymous caller requested an officer at a retail business on East Route 66 because there had been a theft. Someone had stolen beer from the store. Officers advised that there was a search but no one was found.
l At 10:05 a.m., a female reported vandalism. The caller said her windows on South Second Street had been shot with a BB gun.
 l At 2:52 p.m., an officer was requested to Interstate 40 near Tucumcari because a truck driver's window was broken.
l At 7:35 p.m., a male reported that a refrigerated air conditioning unit had been stolen from South Monroe Street.

Monday
l At 8:05 a.m., a female reported that there was a loose chihuahua under her car.
l At 8:06 a.m., a male reported that there was an injured turkey on the ramp at Exit 333 of Interstate 40.
l At 11:18 a.m., a female reported that a white pickup was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane for about two blocks and had almost had a head-on collision.
l At 11:22 a.m., a male requested an officer to East Tucumcari Boulevard in reference to a fight that had previously occurred.
l At 12:02 p.m., a caller requested an officer to East Tucumcari Boulevard in reference to a fight involving a gun and a bat. 
l At 6:54 p.m., a male reported harassment. The male said a harassing note had been left on his vehicle at a motel on East Tucumcari Boulevard.
