The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports:
Tuesday
l At 5 a.m., a female called from truck plaza on Interstate 40 and reported a credit card was possibly stolen.
l At 7:42 a.m., an anonymous caller requested the pick up of two roosters.
l At 7:52 a.m. a female called requesting an officer in reference to items being stolen from the yard.
l At 5:51 p.m., a police officer advised that a warrant was served on an male subject who was incarcerated.
l At 12:05 a.m., a female from a convenience store in Logan reported that a car, with the keys and credit card still in it, had been abandoned at the gas pumps. The incident was handled by the Quay County Sheriff's Office.
Wednesday
l At 11:23 a.m., several callers reported that a horse trailer had rolled over at Exit 335 on Interstate 40.
l At 8:50 p.m., a male reported a suspicious vehicle on Esquela Street.
l At 2:48 a.m., a female reported that there was an intoxicated female subject who refused to leave the area of a convenience store on First Street.
l At 6:37 p.m., an anonymous caller reported that a dumpster was on fire on Main Street.
Thursday
l At 2:40 a.m., a female reported that there was an intoxicated female subject who refused to leave a convenience store on First Street.
l At 7:23 a.m., a male reported that someone had taken a sprinkler, placed it at the door of a residence and flooded the house.
