The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports:
Saturday
l At 11:13 a.m., a female reported her son's car had been vandalized on South Eighth Street.
l At 2:42 p.m., an anonymous caller reported vehicles parked on the grass at Dunn Park on South Fifth Street.
l At 3:46 p.m., a female reported that someone had hit her car on the corner of Hancock and Monroe streets.
l At 6:17 p.m., a female on East Elm Avenue reported that her children had been taken by a family member and she wanted to file charges.
l At 10:22 p.m., a female reported that there was a possible domestic dispute on South Sixth Street.
Sunday
l At 10:17 a.m., a female on East Center Street came into the Tucumcari Police Department to report that her daughter has been missing for four days. Officers advised the juvenile was found on South Seventh Street.
l At 11:45 a.m. a male came into the Tucumcari Police Department to report that he had lost his cell phone around East Center Street.
l At 5:42 p.m., a female reported that her children were getting hurt by neighbor children on Sunset Avenue. Officers advised that the apartment manager was contacted and would handle the situation.
l At 10:27 p.m., Tucumcari police conducted a traffic stop on West Tucumcari Boulevard and discovered the subject had an active warrant our of Quay County. The subject was taken to Quay County Detention Center.
Monday
l At l:13 p.m., an anonymous caller reported that two unwanted subjects were begging customers for money and throwing lit cigarettes at the gas pumps at a business located on Mountain Road. Officers advised that, with the help of a Quay County Sheriff's Deputy, they arrested one female and transported her to Quay County Detention Center.
l At 4:16 p.m., an anonymous caller from a school on South Fifth Street called about a student who was out of control. Officers advised that they were going to speak with the parents of the student.
l At 9:18 p.m., a male reported a possible intoxicated subject laying down in the area of West High Street. Officers advised that the subject is up and moving now.
l At 10:03 p.m., a female reported loud music in one of the rooms at a motel on East Tucumcari Boulevard.
