The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports:
Friday
l At 12:11a.m., an anonymous caller reported three juveniles laying in the road on Max Avenue. The officer advised that he spoke to the parents of the juveniles.
l At 1:10 a.m., a female reported three males possibly selling drugs at a playground on West Center Street.
l At 10:44 a.m., a female came into the police department to report a stolen wallet.
l At 3:14 p.m., a female reported two children alone in a vehicle with all the windows rolled up at a business on East Tucumcari Boulevard.
l At 4:05 p.m., a female reported a fight between one female and two males on Laughlin Avenue.
l At 5:45 p.m., a male came into the police department to report some stolen items on East Center Street.
l At 7:11 p.m., a male on South Jackson Street reported loud music and juveniles drinking.
l At 7:52 p.m., a male at a business on Mountain Road reported that some of the gaming machines had been vandalized.
l At 10:47 p.m., a female in at a business in Logan reported that her tires were slashed.
l At 11:02 p.m., Logan Police Officers arrested a male subject for DWI in the park area at Ute Lake and transported him to Quay County Detention Center.
Saturday
l At 12:36 a.m., a security company called Tucumcari Police Department to report an alarm at a business on East Route 66. The officer advised that a walk-in freezer had been broke into.
l At 1:50 p.m., an anonymous caller reported damage by a vehicle to a building on West Tucumcari Boulevard.
l At 9:58 p.m., a male subject was arrested on Elm Avenue for DWI and transported to Quay County Detention Center.
Sunday
l At 1:23 a.m., an anonymous caller reported someone trying to break into a neighbor’s house on East Laughlin Avenue.
l At 12:34 p.m., a male subject at a business on Mountain Road reported that his wallet had been stolen.
l At 10:59 p.m., a female called to report a building on South Third Street had been broken into.
l At 10:08 p.m., a female on South First Street called to report that a camera had been stolen from the residence.
