All told, quilters spent more than 200 hours to creat this tulip and butterfly quilt that is being raffled off as a fundraiser for Helping Hands Hospice.

Mary Jimenez, president of Helping Hands Hospice of Tucumcari was presented a  butterfly and tulip king size quilt from the Quay -Z- Quilters representative Bonnie Weaver. The quilt will be raffled by hospice as a fundraiser. On hand for the presentation were, from left, Mary Jimenez, Bonnie Weaver, Glenna Allenberg, Diana Beck, Sue Best, Mary Elebario, Margie Truelok and Ethan Truelok. Quilters not present are Jo Priddy, Marcia Huckabee, Jeanette Fister, Sheryl Gambredella, Tracey Gates, Jeanne Smith and Mela Chavez. The quilt was machine quilted by Marcia Huckabee. Tickets are $1 each or $5 for six.
