The Greater Tucumcari Economic Development Corp. held elections on Monday night at its annual board meeting.
The board re-elected the following officers, who will serve a two-year term:

l President,  Franklin McCasland
l Vice president, Leo Thrasher
l Secretary-treasurer, Richard Primrose

Members of the GTEDC’s board are:  John Sutherland, Tucumcari City manager, Tucumcari Mayor Antonio Apodaca, three officials from local banks,  David Hale,  Ben White and Will Cantrell, and three officials from private local businesses,  Mike Hicklin, Jim Lafferty, and  Ronny Sanders.

Three industries, renewable energy,  retail, healthcare,   were targeted for recruitment by GTEDC staff.

The  agency also introduced its updated Web Site at www.tucumcari.biz.
