The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.
Tuesday
l At 7:25 a.m., an anonymous caller reported a skunk on Mountain Road.
l At 9:31 a.m., a male reported that while driving on Highway 209 it appeared that the driver of the vehicle in front of him had passed out and the passenger of the vehicle was able to stop the vehicle safely.
l At 11:06 a.m., a female on LaJoya Street reported to the Quay County Sheriff's Office that a female subject had borrowed a friend's car and had not returned it in a timely manner.
l At 12:36 p.m., a female reported that she and her mother were attacked by three females at a business on south First Street.
l At 1:54 p.m., an anonymous caller reported two females were fighting on south First Street.
l At 2:38 p.m., a male reported to the Quay County Sheriff's Office that he had come home to his residence on QR 63 with a window broken and items missing.
l At 3:33 p.m., an employee at a business on south First Street reported a gas skip of $40.01.
lAt 10:23 p.m., a female on south Third Street reported some suspicious subjects around her house.
Wednesday
l At 3:21 p.m., a female on west High Street reported a dispute over a pick-up.
l At 6:03 p.m., a male on south Monroe Street reported that someone was trying to break-in to the residence.
Thursday
lAt 1:21 p.m., a male reported a hit and run on south Lake Street that had happened sometime between Sept. 26-29.
lAt 5:52 p.m., a female on south Sixth Street reported that the side door at the residence had been kicked in.
l At 7:43 p.m., a male on east Aber Street reported a breaking and entering.
l At 6 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a brush fire on Highway 469.
