The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Thursday

l At 12:37 a.m., a male reported that an unknown subject had taken beer without paying for it at a business on east Route 66 Boulevard.
l At 10:26 a.m., a female reported that a female had left a business on south First Street without paying for $33.50 worth of gasoline. Police advised the woman was contacted and she was on her way to Clovis for a doctor’s appointment. She told police she would get someone to pay for the gas or she would pay no later than 6 p.m.
l At 1:05 p.m., a male came to the Tucumcari Police Department on east Center Street to report a credit card theft.
l At 2:22 p.m., a female reported vandalism on a trailer in the RV area on west Route 66 Boulevard.
l At 6:56 p.m., an anonymous caller reported the theft of gas on east Tucumcari Boulevard.
l At 8:37 p.m., a male on Crestview Drive reported that kids were ringing his doorbell and running away.  They were also banging on the walls.
l At 6:13 p.m., a female reported to the Logan Police Department that a car had hit a deer on the 540 Loop and Williams Lane.

Friday
l At 12:21 a.m., an employee at a business on east Route 66 Boulevard reported that a male subject had taken a 30-pack of Budweiser without paying.
l At 4:01 a.m., a female reported that someone had wrecked into her car on south Third Street and that two men were pushing the car away. Police advised that the subject was messing with the CD player in his car and struck the parked vehicle. The subject was just pushing the car out of the road.
l At 7:30 a.m. a male requested an officer at south Seventh Street and Route 66 Boulevard. He reported that he had pulled out in front of another driver and that driver hit the curb. The caller received a citation.
l At 10:43 a.m., a male reported that a little boy ran into his yard on south Second Street and stole his daughter’s jacket.
l At 3:43 p.m., a female reported that her nephew’s black and chrome Redline 20 inch bicycle had been stolen out of their backyard on south Third Street.

Saturday
l At 3:11 a.m., an anonymous caller reported a suspicious subject looking in windows on west Barnes Avenue. An officer advised that no subject was located in the area.
l At 9:29 a.m., a male reported that a computer was missing and the cash drawer had been broken into at a business on west Aber Street.
l At 10:14 a.m., a female came to the Tucumcari Police Department and requested to talk to an officer about someone making threats to her ten-year-old daughter.
l At 11:03 a.m., a male reported that a vehicle on south Grove Street had been broken into. The call was turned over to the New Mexico State Police.
l At 3:19 p.m., a male reported that two juvenile males from a house across the street form his business on Tucumcari Boulevard were flipping off the main breaker switch at his business and taking off running.
l At 6:11 p.m., a female at a business on Route 66 Boulevard requested officers in reference to shoplifters. One subject was arrested for shoplifting.
l At 7:18 a.m., a female on the 540 Loop called the Logan Police Department to request that an officer pick up a Pit Bull she had found.
l At 2:06 p.m., a female called the Quay County Sheriff to report that the windows at her business had been broken in San Jon.
