San Jon rancher Bob Frost was re-elected to serve on the New Mexico State Fair Commission and to serve as vice chairman, according to a press release.
The commission held its first meeting on Jan. 16 when Frost, Chairman Luke Otero of Santa Fe and Secretary-Treasurer Nerissa Whittington of Albuquerque were re-elected by commission members to serve through the 2009 New Mexico State Fair and the end of the year, the release said.
“I believe we’ve done a lot of good work as commissioners, but there’s plenty more work to be done. I look forward to meeting all of the challenges we face head-on, and with such a dedicated, capable group of commissioners, I think 2009 is going to be one of the best ever for EXPO New Mexico and the Fair,” said Frost in the release.
Frost serves as chairman of the commission’s rodeo committee and on the agriculture and sports committees.
