The Logan Longhorns losses to the Clovis Christian Eagles on Thursday night places them in today's district match-ups.

The Longhorns will play at  8:30 p.m. today against the Eagles for the District 4 1A championship at San Jon.

The teams are tied at 9-1 in district play. Their sole loss is to each other. The Eagles forced the  tie-breaker game with a 63-59 win over the Longhorns Thursday night at Clovis The Longhorns beat the Eagles 69-63  on Jan. 31 at Logan.

The Lady Longhorns 49 to 35 loss Lady Eagles puts them in a tie for third place with the Mosquero Pirates in District 4 1A. A coin toss for third was held with Logan losing the toss to House placing them in fourth place in district.

The Lady Longhorns will play at 7 p.m. today against the San Jon Lady Coyotes  at Logan.

In wrestling, the Tucumcari Rattlers wrestling team is competing today at the 3A state tournament at Rio Rancho.
