The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.
Tuesday
l At 12:41 p.m., an anonymous caller reported several students skipping school in a shed on south College Street.
l At 2:59 p.m., a male at a business on east Tucumcari Boulevard requested an officer in reference to a customer who was giving him a hard time.
l At 3:31 p.m., a female reported an accident with no injuries at the intersection of south First Street and Moore Avenue.
l At 4:22 p.m., a male requested an officer to a business on east Main Street in reference to his son being intoxicated and threatening the caller’s wife.
l At 4:30 p.m., a female came to the Tucumcari Police Department to report a missing person.
l At 8:58 p.m., an anonymous caller reported an erratic driver in a car on north Fifth Street driving back and forth at a high rate of speed and running stop signs.
l At 3:40 a.m., a female reported a building on fire across the street from her house on east Aber Street. The caller said no one lived in the building but there were a lot of items inside.
Wednesday
l At 8:19 a.m., a male came into the Animal Control kennel on north Rock Island Street and picked up his dog that had been stolen.
l At 11:22 a.m., the Animal Control officer reported that he had been flagged down by an individual who wanted to adopt a cat and he was taking the individual to the kennel on north Rock Island Street.
l At 3:03 p.m., a male came to the Tucumcari Police Department to report embezzlement.
l At 6:57 p.m., an anonymous person came to the Tucumcari Police Department to report a lost or stolen wallet.
l At 7:35 p.m., an anonymous caller reported possible underage drinking at an apartment on south Second Street.
l At 7:59 p.m., a female reported two male subjects fighting on east Center Street and that they had a gun.
l At 11:51 p.m., a female reported a gas leak at the gas meter behind her house on south Ninth Street.
Thursday
l At 7:03 a.m., a male requested an officer to his residence on east Aber in reference to his tires being slashed.
l At 8:55 p.m., a male came to the Tucumcari Police Department to speak with an officer in reference to fraudulent use of his debit card in California.
l At 7:26 p.m., an anonymous caller reported to the Logan Police Department an attempted breaking and entering at a trailer park on Fourth Street in Logan.
