Members of several churches in Tucumcari gathered at sunrise on Easter Sunday for services.

Jason Bruce, minister to students from First Baptist, Margaret Koontz, pastor of First Presbyterian and Tom Broom, pastor of Center Street Methodist, each delivered a short sermon. 

About 20 people gathered for the servoces as the sun peaked through a set of dark clouds.

Although it was cloudy, the sun had gleaned through to show God's wonder and Saturday's rainfall was a blessed gift, Koontz said.
