Inez Brown, 93, died on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, in Portales. She was born July 29, 1916 in Porter. Survivors include four dauthers Geraldine Lawrence, Cindy Muro, Lavone Bond and Jo Rheta McElroy.

Lena C. Borquez

Lena C. Borquez, age 76, died on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, in Tucumcari. She was born on May 3, 1933, in Dalhart, Texas.

Survivors include her husband Raymond Borquez, two sons Jimmy Borquez and Raymond Borquez Jr. and three daughters Theresa Callahan, Christine Pacheco and Hope Ortiz.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Tucumcari.

Robert H."SHINE" McFarland

Robert H."SHINE" McFarland, 96, died on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, in Amarillo. He was born Nov. 8, 1913, in Texas.

Survivors include his wife Elsie McFarland, one son Kelly McFarland and two daughters Sarah Wilson and Mary Madera.

Services: 1 p.m., Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Tucumcari.
