Candance Lee Harris graduated on May 15, 2010, from Eastern New Mexico University with a Master of Science Speech Language Pathology. Harris is a 2004 graduate of Tucumcari High School.

Young adults from Tucumcari High School and Mesalands Community College participated in the “Get Moving Tucumcari” Logo contest. The Contest was sponsored by the Nutrition and Fitness Committee of the Maternal Child and Community Health Council. The winning logo featured Tucumcari Mountain Jumping Rope which will be used in promoting physical activities around Tucumcari. The winner Adrianna Apodaca, received a 2010 summer pool pass sponsored by the City of Tucumcari.

Aidric Dominguez of Rio Rancho, NM has celebrated his 1st Birthday on June 12, 2010 at Rio Rancho. The Celebration was hosted by his parents James and Asleah Dominguez of Rio Rancho, Grandparents Joe and Mary Dominguez of Tucumcari and Pat and Dinah Rawlings of Boulder, CO. Aidric was born June 12, 2009 in Albuquerque.
