Tucumcari – Stephen Hensley, 41 of Tucumcari was arrested after agents
linked Hensley to an on line profile of trading child pornography.
Early yesterday morning agents with the New Mexico State Police Online
Predator Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Tucumcari, NM.
The search warrant was the result of a proactive investigation initiated
by OPU agents into the illegal trading of child pornography over the
internet. While at the residence, Agents interviewed Stephen Hensley.
Hensley admitted to possessing child pornography images and storing those
images on multiple disks. While executing the search warrant agents were
able to find several hundred child pornography images on computers and
disks.
After completing the search warrant, Hensley was charged with 45 felony
counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children (Manufacturing), 3 felony counts
of Sexual Exploitation of Children (Distribution) and 236 felony counts of
Sexual Exploitation of Children (Possession). Hensley was later booked
into the Quay County Detention Center.
