Youth soccer sign ups extended

Tucumcari Youth Soccer League has extended their registration to Aug. 15. Pre-register to allow time for the Jerseys to come in. Register at Radio Shack $25 per child.

Church begins celebration

Saint Anne's Catholic Church began its fiesta celebration on Monday honoring their patron saint, Saint Anne. A Novena short prayer will be recited daily until the day of the feast of Saint Anne and Saint Joachim, the grandparents of Jesus. All are welcome to come and celebrate Mass and the Novena.

The highlight of the fiesta is the dinner and reverse raffle drawing at 5:30 p.m., on July 28 at the Tucumcari Convention Center.

Tickets costing $100 for a $10,000 drawing will be on sale at the parish until July 26. The proceeds are used to defray the cost of insurance and repairs on the church, rectory, school building and Hammond Hall.

Fun night at 6 p.m., July 29 at the school yard, featuring music games and food.
