Police Blotter/ Jail Log—Feb. 3

The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Jan. 18
• 7:24 a.m., an alarm was reported at an office on the 300 block of South Second Street. An officer advised all was OK.
•11:04 a.m., a woman reported threats at a residence on the 1300 block of East Whitmore Avenue.
• 1:26 p.m., a woman reported a shoplifter at a retail store on the 2100 block of East Route 66. The woman told the officer that a woman had walked out of the store with a shopping cart full of merchandise. Dennessa Bland, 45, was arrested for shoplifting and was taken to the Quay County Detention Center.
• 4:34 p.m., a man reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 1200 block of East Main Street.  Mario Armijo, 45, was arrested for violating a restraining order and taken to QCDC.
• 6:37 p.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 1300 block of East Heman Avenue.

Jan. 19
• 2:28 p.m., a woman reported a theft at the corner of Quay Road AJ and East Route 66.
• 5:55 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 1400 block of East Whitmore Avenue.

Jan. 20
• 5:52 a.m., an alarm was reported at a building on the 600 block of East Route 66. An officer advised all was OK.
• 9:04 a.m., an alarm was reported at a building on the 1600 block of North Rock Island Street. An officer advised all was OK.
• 12:46 p.m., a woman walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a dispute.
• 5:59 p.m., a man reported a burglary at a residence on the 1500 block of South Seventh Street.

Jan. 21
• 2:56 p.m., a woman walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a dispute.
• 5:29 p.m., a man reported threats at a residence on the 700 block of East Rankin Avenue.
• 7:20 p.m., a woman reported harassment on the 600 block of East Route 66.

Jan. 22
• 12:37 p.m., an alarm was reported at an office on the 700 block of East Aber Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.
• 4:51 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on the 200 block of East Route 66. Julio Avila, 39, was arrested for driving under the influence and was taken to QCDC.

Jan. 23
• 9:39 a.m., a man reported a burglary at a residence on the 100 block of North Fifth Street.
• 9:55 a.m., a man walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report harassment.
• 6:43 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue. An officer advised all was OK, it was a verbal argument only.
• 9:01 p.m., a man reported an attempted burglary of a vehicle on the 1100 block of South Adams Street. The man told the officer that a man attempted to break into his vehicle. An officer advised they patrolled the area and did not find the man.
Jan. 25
• 2:41 a.m., a man reported a prowler on the 1700 block of South Second Street. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.
• 9:26 a.m., a man reported a shoplifter at a fuel station on the 2300 block of South First Street. Dyllan Robison, 20, was arrested for shoplifting and was taken to QCDC.
• 11:23 a.m., a woman reported threats at a residence on the 400 block of East Turner Avenue.

Jan. 26
• 3:50 a.m., a woman reported threats at residence on the 600 block of South Third Street.
• 9:19 a.m., Jeff Dabbs, 51, was arrested for a warrant on the 3200 block of East Route 66. Dabbs was taken to QCDC.
• 12:33 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 1300 block of East Harmon Avenue.  Stacy Smith, 43, was arrested for battery on a household member and was taken to QCDC.
• 1:12 p.m., Lamar French, 28, was arrested for a warrant on the 300 block of West Turner Avenue. French was taken to QCDC.

Jan. 27
• 8:42 a.m., a man walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a dispute.
• 8:45 a.m., an alarm was reported at a bank on the 300 block of East U.S. Highway 54. An officer advised all was OK.
• 10:12 a.m., Diana Guajardo, 43, was arrested for a warrant on the 1300 block of South First Street. Guajardo was taken to QCDC.

Jan. 28
• 8:35 a.m., a man reported embezzlement from a fuel station on the 1900 block of South Mountain Road. Steven Shankles, 30, was arrested for embezzlement and was taken to QCDC.
• 11:31 a.m., a man reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 1100 block of East Main Street. William Martin, 35, was arrested for aggravated battery on a household member and was taken to QCDC.
• 12:30 p.m., a woman reported a dispute at a residence on the 1000 block of South Monroe Street.
• 12:37 p.m., Israel Uvalle, 45, was arrested for a warrant on the 1600 block of South Third Street. Uvalle was taken to QCDC.
