The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Dec. 14
• 3:23 a.m., a woman reported a disturbance at a residence on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue. The woman told the officer that a woman was yelling and threatening to break a window. An officer advised they patrolled the area and had no contact with the woman.
• 1:58 p.m., an officer reported a vehicle pursuit on Interstate 40.
• 6:01 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue.
• 9:48 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 600 block of East McGee Avenue. Marciano Acosta, 26, was arrested for assault against a household member and taken to the Quay County Detention Center.
• 11:35 p.m., a woman walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report the theft of Christmas decorations.

Dec. 15
• 12:39 a.m., an alarm was reported at a business on the 300 block of South Second Street. An officer advised all was OK.
• 6:36 a.m., an officer reported an open door on a building on the 1900 block of South Third Street. Allen McKinney, 48, was arrested for a warrant and taken to QCDC.
• 7:58 a.m., a woman reported vandalism of a vehicle on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue.
• 7:03 p.m., a man reported a burglary of a vehicle on the 1100 block of South Seventh Street.
• 7:38 p.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue.

Dec. 16
• 8:04 a.m., a woman reported vandalism of a vehicle on the 700 block of East Turner Avenue.
• 2:40 p.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 1000 block of South Second Street.
• 9:47 p.m., an officer reported an open door at a building on the 900 block of East Hines. An officer advised the door was secured.

Dec. 17
• 12:43 p.m., An officer conducted a traffic stop on the 1500 block of Quay Road 58.5. Ryan Harris, 29, was arrested for receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle and aggravated fleeing a law enforcement officer. Harris was taken to QCDC.
• 6:46 p.m., a woman reported a woman flagging down traffic on the I-40 5 miles West of Tucumcari. An officer advised they searched the area and did not locate the woman.
• 8:48 p.m., a man reported an unwanted man at a motel on the 1700 block of East Route 66. An officer advised the man left the property and was served a no trespassing order and told not to return.

Dec. 18
• 8:35 a.m., a woman reported a shoplifter at a retail store on the 2100 block of East Route 66.
• 10:52 a.m., a woman reported vandalism of a vehicle on the 200 block of East Main Street.
• 4:48 p.m., a woman reported a fight on the 1400 block of East McGee Avenue. An officer advised the parties left the area prior to their arrival.
• 8:14 p.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 300 block of Sunrise Avenue.

The following individuals were booked into the Quay County Detention Center Dec. 14-18.
• Michael Romero, 24, warrant
• Allen McKinney, 48, warrant
• Marciano Acosta, 26, assault against a household member
• Ryan Harris, 29, receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle, aggravated fleeing a law enforcement officer

The following individuals were released from the Quay County Detention Center Dec. 14-18.
• Gene Vargas, 31, bond
• Ryan Sherwood, 29, probation
• Bernie Chacon, 58, time served
• Marciano Acosta, 26 bond
• Matthew Howell, 25, bond
• Jeanne Benavidez, 33, transferred to the department of corrections
• Jackson Talvitie, 37, transferred to the department of corrections
• Bryan Sloan, 30, probation
• Michael Romero, 24, transferred to the department of corrections
