Police Blotter/Jail Log

The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Sept. 21
• 10:01 a.m., a man walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a dispute.
•10:12 a.m., a man reported suspicious activity at a building on the 4000 block of Quay Road 62.9. A deputy advised that all was OK.
• 2:27 p.m., a woman walked into the PD on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a domestic dispute.
• 3:10 p.m., Joshua Hyslop, 30, was arrested for a warrant on the 800 block of West Hancock Avenue. Hyslop was taken to the Quay County Detention Center.
• 5:01 p.m., a woman walked into the PD to report vandalism of a vehicle.
• 6:22 p.m., a woman reported unwanted men at a residence on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue. An officer advised the men left prior to their arrival.
• 7:39 p.m., a woman reported threats at a residence on the 1700 block of South Sixth Street.
• 10:38 p.m., an alarm was reported at an office on the 1600 block of South Rock Island Street. An officer advised all was OK.

Sept. 22
• 3:22 a.m., a man reported a theft at a motel on the 2600 block of South First Street. The man told the officer that money had been stolen from his room. An officer advised the money was located in a wallet that was beneath the mattress.
• 3:51 a.m., an alarm was reported at a residence on the 1000 block of South First Street. An officer advised all was OK.
• 4:08 a.m., a woman reported a fight at a residence on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue. An officer advised they patrolled the area and the subjects left the area prior to their arrival.
• 6:37 a.m., Wilbert Pederson, 49,  was arrested for a warrant on the corner of South Third Street and West Dehoney Avenue. Pederson was taken to QCDC.
• 11:20 a.m., a woman reported an unwanted man at a residence on the 1000 block of East Heman Avenue. The woman told officers that the man walked into her home and took off his clothes and was laying in the bed. An officer advised the man was asked to leave the residence.
• 4:28 p.m., a woman reported a suspicious man knocking on the door of a residence on the 1000 block of East Center Street. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.
• 5:25 p.m., a woman reported a suspicious vehicle parked on the 300 block of South Second Street. An officer advised they made contact with the driver of the vehicle and all was OK.
• 7:15 p.m., a woman reported burglary at a residence on the 900 block of East Garcia Street.
• 8:53 p.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 1900 block of South Seventh Street.
• 10:24 p.m., an alarm was reported at a residence on the 500 block of East Rankin Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.

Sept. 23
• 3:36 a.m., a woman reported a prowler at a residence on the 1000 block of South Jackson Street. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.
• 11:44 a.m., a woman walked into the PD on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a dispute.
• 1:34 p.m., a woman reported threats at a residence on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue.
• 5:20 p.m., a woman reported a shoplifter at a retail store on the 100 block of East Route 66. Tyler Loftis, 23, was arrested for a warrant and taken to QCDC.
• 7:03 p.m., a woman reported threats at a fuel station on the 2600 block of South First Street.

Sept. 24
• 12:21 a.m., an alarm was reported at the convention center on the 1500 block of West Route 66. An officer advised all was OK.
• 3:53 a.m., an alarm was reported at a restaurant on the 1200 block of East Route 66. An officer advised all was OK.
• 1:08 p.m., a man walked into the PD on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a dispute.
• 2:13 p.m.,  Agnes Husman, 24, was arrested at the district court on the 300 block of South Third Street. Husman, was taken to QCDC.
• 5:46 p.m., an alarm was reported at the elementary on the 1600 block of South 11 Street. An officer advised all was OK.
• 8:50 p.m., a woman reported harassment at residence on the 1900 block of South Seventh Street.

Sept. 25
• 8:35 a.m., a woman reported a burglary at a building on the 800 block of East Route 66.
• 11:37 a.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 1700 block of South Jackson Street.
• 3:17 p.m.,  a man reported a burglary of a vehicle at a restaurant on the 2500 block of South First Street.
• 5:14 p.m., a man reported threats at a residence on the 1200 block of East Main Street.
• 7:26 p.m., a woman reported threats at a residence on the 400 block of West High Avenue.
• 11:03 p.m., a woman reported an open door at a building on the 800 block of East Route 66.

The following individuals were booked into the Quay County Detention Center Sept. 23 – Sept. 25. No booking reports were available from Sept. 19-Sept. 22.
