Dec. 8: 6 p.m., Tucumcari/Quay County Chamber of Commerce Parade of Lights. There will be 1st and 2nd place awards in three categories: Religious, Christmas General, and Recreational. The recreational category includes anything on wheels: horses, wagons, semi-trucks, boats, RV’s, motorcycles, bicycles, tractors, tow trucks, bobcats, dump trucks, buses, fifth wheelers. You may also enter and not be judged. No entry fee and you don’t have to be a Chamber member to enter. Call the Chamber to register your float at 461-1694.

• No live Santa on floats other than the Official Santa on the Emergency Vehicle

Dec. 9: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m., Helping Hands Hospice “Home Tour.” Tickets are $15 per person. You must have your ticket to enter each of the eight residences and businesses. You may begin at any of the sites listed below and visit them in any order. A reception will be held from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Gallery 111 Fine Art and Bed & Breakfast.
